On Friday 26th of August 2022 me and my class had
PWC come in and teach us how to save some money.
They told us what wants and needs are. Wants are something that you do want and like so much. They taught us
how to be trustworthy and trust people for you to lend the object to them. There names were Nick,George,Ellie.
We should be saving money incase emergences,groceries,futures,purchases. Needs are stuff that you need to survive/live. Thats all hope you like it.
On Thursday the 4th of August 2022 me my class and Room 5 went on a trip to the zoo.In the morning before we went to thee zoo we all split up in to groups. Then we walked to the bus. At the zo when we got ther the first place we went to was the african safari and we saw Giraffes,Zebra,Rihnoceros and Ostrides. Then we went to see the lazy lions and then we went to the asian elephants but it was sad because there was only one elephant and her name was Burma. Burma weighted a lot C.J the zoo keeper he told us what Burma eats,how much she weighed,and what she does in her free time. After all his talking we had to wear gloves and touch Burma’s poo it was so round like a ball and it was like hay that was stuck on it and it was squishy. Then we went to see the Rengatang’s. The Rengatang’s were all the way on top of us the mother was with the baby climbing to the other side to go to the dad and the dad did not want it so he went off his comfortable spot and go away. It was funny because the Rengatang was peeing from the top and it was falling down luck it did not pee on any of us. Then we went to see all of the lizards,tranchulas,spidermonkeys,tazmanian devils,otters,meerkats,serval and baboons. We watched how the zoo keepers fed the spider monkeys. Kat the zoo keepers told us that 2 or 3 years ago the tree’s grew to long that the spider monkeys climbed over to the other animal enclosure.Then we went back and we saw all the animals again that is all I hope you like it.
Today on Wednesday 27th of july 2022 me and my class and room 5 had Lance Du come from ACG and his friend / helpers from Kristin school in Albany. They taught us how to make catapult’s with rubberband’s, popsicle sticks, medal spoons or plastic spoons, hot glue gun,tape. We had a competition and it was our class vs the other class some of my class were competeing against us. The first round we won it was so fun and the second round the other team won and the third round we won by 3 or 4 inches and every one in my team won. So how we made is we made a square and we taped the square together then we did 2 triaangle’s on the side then we put four popsicle sticks to line it up then we made the launching stick so then we tied up heaps of rubberbands and it was finished. That is all I hope you like it.
At T-ball it was Rm5 vs Rm6 . Rm5 was leading 18 and we were losing by ten then we caught up. I hit so far no one could catch it. What i learnt from T-ball from the last time i played was that it does not matter about winning it’s about having fun and showing confidence hitting and catching the ball. then the game finished we tied with Rm5 and the score was 18 to 18. Thats all Ihope you like it.
At kelly sports we did T-ball. At T- ball we did Rm6 vs Rm5 we won by 5 points and and the score was 13 to 8 points and that is all I hope you like it.
